What is the point of therapy?

Huw Green writes insightfully about the purpose of therapy in The Guardian: "The overall point of psychotherapy is to help us to think - in the richest sense of the word about our lives, about who we are and what we want, and thereby to live more actively and more freely."

"Awareness requires living in the here and now, and not in the elsewhere, the past or the future."
